I have never eaten paratha before. Well, until last week that is. I’ve often seen it in the frozen section in the local Bhatbhateni store but never thought to give it a try. Then one sunny day at work for lunch we were served fresh, handmade potato parathas.
Then I searched and searched and couldn’t find the recipe until I looked in my little Nepalese cookbook. Lo and behold… alu/aloo paratha!

I have not tried onion paratha yet, but I bet it’s just as good. Perhaps next time I’ll make a mixture of both? 😉 If you have any other recipes similar to this one, send it my way! I’d love to hear similar recipes to paratha as it’s so good, simple to make, and fulfilling!
Speaking of all this food makes my tummy rumble! Tonight on Bri’s dinner plate will be a mixture of grilled paneer, cabbage, and cauliflower with turmeric powder, veggie masala, and cream, with a little bit of salt and paprika to taste!
